Overview

Delta Camp is situated amongst the natural bush and flood-plains of the famous Okavango Delta - one of the world's premier wilderness areas. Stay in exquisite accommodation while enjoying the variety of wildlife this location has to offer. Spend your days exploring the swamps in dug-out canoes or on walking safaris on the area's many islands. You can also visit the local village where the guides live for an insight into local traditions and cultures. Relax on your private deck, enjoying a refreshing sundowner, as the sun sets over the riverine forest.

Highlights

Our Thoughts

A family-friendly safari lodge which is renowned for its good levels of guiding. The activities available include bush walks, mokoro cruises and village visits with overnight camping trips also possible for really wanting to get out into the bush. A nice touch here is that each of the guest chalets showcases the work of a different local artist.

Relax on the wooden viewing deck and take in a magical sunset and perhaps even spot wildlife or some of the many species of bird found here.

Delta Camp serves up three hearty meals a day which include fresh vegetables, cheeses, and meats. Dining typically takes place at a large communal table on the main deck overlooking the Okavango Delta

The Delta Camp accommodates 16 guests in eight chalets that have been built to blend into the surrounding landscape. Making use of local materials such as wood and reeds, the chalets offer an authentic retreat with added comforts. Each chalet has an en suite bathroom with hot water, and a shower with a view. In addition, the rooms feature comfortable beds with mosquito netting, and electrical outlets.
