A beautifully-restored Edwardian manor house which offers refined comfort deep in the African bush in its 15 spacious rooms and suites.

In total there are never more than 38 guests, which gives the feel and flow of a true country house party, with wonderful meals, both in the dining room and outside at the Boma, as well as a fine selection of wines and cigars. Shamwari is world famous for its wildlife and Long Lee Manor is the perfect base from which to explore it.

Highlights

Our Thoughts

The most ‘hotel-like’ property on the Shamwari Reserve. Perfect for those who want their safari adventure to be on the side of soft, with no tented rooms, and facilities that include a spa, fitness centre and steam room.

  • Two swimming pools
  • Spa facilities

All meals are served within the surroundings of the lodge. Breakfast will be in the main dining room, whilst lunches are served on the sprawling lawns in front of the Manor House. Dinners will be served in the dining room, al fresco or out in the bush and guests will be given a variety of dining experiences during their stay.

All rooms are located within the main house, offering an option of King or Twin beds. The rooms are very spacious, with all of the amenities you could wish for. The patios outside each of the rooms are a lovely place to relax, enjoy an afternoon drink and stare out over the bush.

  • Two game drives per day
  • Guided bush walks

Children are not accommodated at Long Lee – Shamwari use Riverdene Lodge for all of their family bookings,
