Princesse Bora Lodge and Spa

Overview

An elegant escape from the stresses and strains of modern life can be found in this remote island resort off the east coast of Madagascar.

Here, surrounded by palm groves and facing several kilometres of pure white beach, the ultimate in relaxation can be found. Accommodation is in spacious villas each with large stone bathtubs, king size beds and large terraces & verandahs – some are large enough for a family, others private enough for honeymoons. The hotel also has two private beaches surrounded by coconut forests – Coco Bay and Clipper Bay.

Highlights

Our Thoughts

A beach stay far removed from the norm, as guests here rarely encounter anyone on the lodge’s two beaches. The offshore whale-watching is particularly good in season and it is the ideal spot at which to finish a Madagascan adventure.

The Chef uses seasonal local products, cooked in malagasy, creole and french influences. Fish is always the star, whether grilled, in tartar, carpaccio or carry. Enjoy the show of your food grilling under your eyes.

Among the must-see you will also find grilled lobster, zébu steak, wood oven pizzas, home-made ice creams, exotic fruit desserts and an irresistible chocolate fondant...
