The Last Word Long Beach

Overview

Miles of white sand and infinite views of the ocean make this one of the Cape’s most romantic and dramatic locations.

Each of the six spacious suites in this beachside boutique hotel has a sea view and private patio. Situated in the picturesque lobster-fishing village of Kommetjie (you can catch your own lobster and then have it cooked for dinner) guests can simply enjoy the magnificent setting, surf or horse-ride on the beach. Set right on the sands, it is also recognised as one of South Africa’s marine bird hotspots and is a bird-watchers delight.

Highlights

Our Thoughts

A very personalised hotel on the beach in a beautiful area of the Cape which very few get to see. 45 minutes drive from the city, it should ideally be booked in conjunction with another property in Cape Town, rather than be used as the sole base from which to visit the city’s sights.
