Back in the 1970's Chinzombo was the base for Norman Carr's Green Season operations. Much has changed in the last 40 years and the camp has now been transformed into the leading super luxury lodge in Zambia. As befits a lodge of this quality, the food is superb and a real highlight of a stay. Meals are served in the main dining room or out in the open, with the option for private dining in the villas being offered as well.
The Bush Villas here are vast, with wooden floors, canvas side and huge decking areas where you find plenty of sitting areas and your private plunge pools. The villas have a strong colonial feel to them and are wonderfully comfortable, with the bed areas cooled by a special air flow system. There is a two bedroom family villa available as well.
