On arrival in Johannesburg, you connect with your onward flight to Hoedspruit, the gateway to the Kruger National Park.  You will be met and transferred to the luxurious Royal Malewane Private Game Lodge, where you spend the next two nights.  Enjoy spectacular game drives, splash out in the lap pool, or why not book yourself a pampering treatment in the Royal Malewane Bush Spa?

After a short drive back to Hoedspruit, you return to Johannesburg for an overnight stay in world class surroundings at The Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa, a landmark hotel with an extraordinary history.

Today you transfer to Pretoria and check in for your two night rail journey aboard the renowned Blue Train to Cape Town, stopping en route to explore the old diamond-rush town of Kimberley.  On board you are treated to luxurious accommodation and fine dining with a menu for every taste, washed down of course, with a range of award-winning South African wines.

Continue to the fishing village of Hermanus where you spend the next two nights in sophisticated surroundings at Birkenhead House. Built atop cliffs overlooking the ocean, the views from this hotel are hard to beat, and whale watching can be done from the luxury of the pool deck if you really don’t want to venture out and get the sand on your feet whilst walking along the walkway between Hermanus and Birkenhead House.
