Amboseli National Park: Lying at the foot of the permanently snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro close to the Tanzanian border, Amboseli offers game viewing with this spectacular mountain as a backdrop. It is renowned for the large herds of habituated elephants and numerous salt pans, and although visitors enjoy game drives in only 10% of the parks’ area, Amboseli is Kenya’s next most popular park after the Masai Mara, and is where there is the best chance of spotting black rhino.
