Great Rift Valley
Rift Valley Lakes: A collection of soda and freshwater lakes which stretch from Lake Turkana in the far north to Lake Magadi in the south. The main lakes visited are Naivasha and Baringo, both freshwater, and the soda lakes of Nakuru and Bogoria. All have a profusion of bird life, hippo, crocodile and other game, with Nakuru famous for the large numbers of pink flamingo that can be seen, and Naivasha home to over 400 species of bird.
