Manyara, Tarangire & Arusha
Manyara: Home to over 350 species of bird, including the beautiful pink flamingos, this park is dominated by the lake of the same name, but is also the habitat of the famous tree-climbing Manyara lions.

Tarangire: Situated along the course of the Tarangire River, the Tarangire National Park attracts impressive numbers of game in the dry season, from mid July to mid October.

Arusha: The base from which all Tanzanian safaris depart, this small town offers a number of small hotels and lodges and lies close the Arusha National Park.
