Spectacular Zambia & Malawi

Day 1

Depart on the overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Days 2-4

Connecting flight to Livingstone to stay for three nights at the Royal Livingstone. Located right on the banks of the Zambezi River, this magnificent colonial-style property has brought a new level of luxury to the area, with a swimming pool, spa, and outdoor dining all available. (BB)

Days 5-7

Fly to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa National Park to stay for three superb nights at Nsefu Camp. This was the first photographic safari camp in Zambia, and when it was reopened in 1999, it was in keeping with the original style. The view of the river is superb and includes a terraced area where game grazes during the day, and the bar overlooking a waterhole which leopard visit at night. The spacious en-suite rooms boast wooden verandas and the camp lies in the heart of a remote but game-rich wilderness. (FB)

Days 8-13

Fly to Lilongwe and onward to Monkey Bay to stay for six superb nights at Pumulani Lodge. Overlooking a private beach, the ten villas are scattered around the hillside and are individual in shape and style but all have a spacious bedroom, bathroom and extensive sitting area. The central dining and bar area is high above the lake and there is an infinity swimming pool, lake shore bar, full range of water sports and a traditional dhow sailing boat. (FB)

Day 14

Return to Lilongwe and fly to Johannesburg for onward overnight flight to the UK.

Day 15

Arrive UK.
