Day 1

Depart London on an overnight flight to Nairobi

Day 2-4

Arrive Nairobi and transfer to Joy’s Camp for three nights. Built on the site of Joy Adamson’s original home in the Shaba National Reserve, it was also home to Penny the leopard, the heroine of her last book. Ten sumptuous tents overlook a natural spring where elephant, lion, giraffe and buffalo come to refresh. (FB)

Days 5-8

Transfer to Elephant Pepper Camp for four nights and enjoy an authentic Masai Mara safari experience. This is a totally eco-friendly experience with no generators, no permanent structures and no passing vehicles - just the sights and sounds of the bush. The spacious tents offer en-suite dressing rooms and safari showers and are furnished with many original safari antiques. (FB)

Depart to Nairobi and connect with the return flight to London
