Day 2 - 6

Upon arrival into Johannesburg you will take your onward flight to Maun followed by your light aircraft transfer to San Camp for your two night stay on a full board basis. San Camp is situated on the edge of the vast and mysterious Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, the remnant of an extinct super lake that once covered most of Botswana. Turn 360° and nothing crosses the eye but the bowl of the sky. Classic white tents stand majestically on the shore of an enormous sparkling salt pan, each sheltered by a cluster of stately desert palms. San Camp runs almost entirely on solar energy, thus dramatically reducing the use of fossil fuels. Expert guiding, incredibly friendly habituated meerkats, unique desert species, old-world safari styling and superb cuisine all come together to create an experience that is completely different to any other

Day 4 - 6

Today you will begin mobile safari for three nights with the bushmen on a full board basis, A dignified, sensitive and non-patronising cultural experience; walk with Bushmen trackers and watch the children learn hunting skills; an opportunity to observe the age old ritual of the Initiation Hunt; accompany the women as they gather herbs and medicinal plants; experience the magic of the healing trance dance.

Day 7

Today you will be transferred back to aun by light aircraft for your onwards flights back to the UK via Johannesburg.
