Etendeka Mountain Camp

Overview

Etendeka Mountain Camp not only offers the chance to explore the stunning Damaraland wilderness in the company of superb guides but also has strong community, conservation and eco friendly credentials.

Manager and co-owner Dennis Liebenberg has been here for over 20 years and has built a traditional, rustic tented camp with outdoor bucket showers and solar power.

This rugged area of boulders, flat topped mountains and rocky valleys can be explored on foot or by vehicle in the company of experienced guides who introduce guests to the animal and plant life that survives in these arid conditions. Desert elephants and black rhino may be seen as well as mountain zebra and herds of oryx while lion and cheetah can also be found.

Etendeka is a rustic, traditional camp for those looking for a down to earth safari in a a pristine wilderness setting.
