If you like the sound of a true wilderness experience then this is the safari for you. Starting with a night at Nkwali, followed by 5 days of walking and camping, and then ending with a night at either Tena Tena or Nsefu you are immersed into the remote wilderness of the South Luangwa.
If you have had the traditional safari experience and want something different and more authentic then this is ideal. It’s also a great option for those interested in photography as there are more opportunities to get close to the animals.
The food is simple and homey, but very tasty and nutritious – you need it to be to walk 10km every day.
The camp will consist of three twin walk-in Meru tents, and can accommodate six guests maximum.
The minimum age for the walking safari is 21 years old.
