Oyster Bay Lodge

A luxury boutique beach property set amongst 235 hectares of unspoilt landscape with dunes, woods, wetlands, deltas and lagoon.

Accommodation is in a choice of large and comfortable guest rooms or Cape Dutch style chalets, with the property a great base for enjoying either a multitude of activities – mountain-biking, horse-riding, fishing or hiking – or a relaxing stay of sunbathing, swimming and long walks along the deserted beach. Children are also welcome with family rooms available.

Our Thoughts

Set on a sweeping beach, at the eastern end of the Garden Route, which makes it ideal for a relaxing beach stay after an Eastern Cape safari. Families are welcome and as the beach is often deserted guests have it to themselves.  The dune safaris are great fun.

There is one in-house restaurant that puts on a semi a la carte breakfast, with an a la carte lunch followed by a set five course dinner in the evening. All your worries are taken care of as you no longer have to be in the kitchen, and excellent cuisine is served every day.

All rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and with views either out over the ocean or across the lush tropical gardens and mountains. They have all the requirements you could possibly need. If travelling with little ones then the family guest room is perfect with a private loft room for them to explore and a balcony to relax on. If you fancy splashing out, the luxury chalets will make you want to stay forever. With free standing baths (with an amazing view) under floor heating (unbelievable in those winter months) and uninterrupted views of the ocean.
