Vamizi Island

Overview

Found in the Quirimbas Archipelago in northern Mozambique Vamizi is an idyllic coral island surrounded by azure waters where families, couples and groups can enjoy the exclusivity of one of the island's private beach villas.

The marine conservation area around the island is home to pristine coral and hundreds of species of fish with numerous dive sites to explore or one can take to the water on kayaks or a traditional dhow cruise.  On land you can get a flavour of local life by visiting one of the island's villages, discover the flora and fauna on a guided nature walk or simply take a leisurely stroll along miles of deserted beach.
