This is the perfect luxury safari combining two distinct areas of the mighty Zambezi River. From Tongabezi visit the impressive and thundering Victoria Falls and enjoy their famous Sampan dinner as you float on the river. From Anabezi in the wildlife haven of the Lower Zambezi National Park you can take to the water on a boat cruise or paddle at your own pace in a canoe. Once back on dry land explore by vehicle or embark on a walking safari. With direct flights between Livingstone and Lower Zambezi in the peak safari season combining these two superb destinations is now even easier.
Overnight flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg on British Airways.
On arrival into Johannesburg you will collect your luggage and check-in for your flight up to Livingstone. There you will be met by staff from Tongabezi who will transfer you up to the lodge (about 30 minutes) where you will be spending the next four nights in one of their cottages. A romantic hideaway on the banks of the Zambezi River just upstream of Victoria Falls, Tongabezi is a unique property. No two rooms or houses are the same. Your time here will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the fantastic range of activities on offer, including walking tours of The Falls, canoeing trips, boat cruises, guided walks and game drives.
This morning you will be taken to the airport for your flight to the Lower Zambezi National Park for a four night stay at Anabezi. Where the Zambezi and Mushika River flood plain meet, Anabezi is a secluded and luxurious base from which to enjoy a wonderful range of land and water activities – boating and canoeing past hippos and crocodiles, reeling in tiger fish, exciting walking safaris and game drives amongst elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and more.
