Nothing can quite compare to your first safari experience in Kenya, and this itinerary is designed to let first-time visitors experience all the magic of this wonderful destination. Visiting two different game reserves during your stay, you will have the chance to view the full spectrum of wildlife that inhabits Kenya, of course including the famous Big 5. Not only will you have the chance to enjoy incredible safari experiences including bush walks as well as the more traditional game drives, this will be done while staying at some of the most luxurious camps around, ensuring you don’t ever have to go without your creature comforts. Depart Heathrow on a direct British Airways flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be met and taken to House Of Waine, a unique boutique hotel set on 2.5 acres of tropical gardens in the quiet Karen suburb of Nairobi. Originally a family home, this family-owned and run property was lovingly converted into a hotel in 2004 and is now one of Nairobi's premier luxury boutique hotels.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Nanyuki. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kicheche Laikipia Camp for a three-night stay. This small and luxurious tented camp is nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole, in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Conservancy offers guests a wonderfully remote environment to enjoy quality game viewing and is home to Kenya's largest population of Black Rhino, considerable numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion and leopard. Privacy and personal service are assured as the main camp has just six luxurious tents featuring en suite bathrooms and outdoor decks where guests can relax and lookout for passing wildlife.
You will be taken to Nanyuki for your flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Kicheche Bush Camp for a three-night stay. The Kicheche Bush Camp which has a prime position in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve the conservancy has strict controls on the numbers of guests and vehicles in the area, providing visitors with a superb game viewing experience away from the crowds. Being outside the main reserve also allows you to explore the area on foot and the camp’s highly-rated guides will also take you on game drives in their customised, open-sided vehicles, designed to make the most of the fantastic game viewing and photographic opportunities you are sure to have.
You will fly back to Nairobi Wilson airport and on to the international airport for your overnight flight back to Heathrow on British Airways.
