Nestled quietly away on its own coffee estate on the lower foothills of Mt Meru, Arusha Coffee Lodge is a haven of tranquillity away from busy Arusha and a great place to start or indeed end your adventure around Northern Tanzania.
The whole feel of the lodge comes from it's colonial heritage, the original building was constructed during the early 1900's and the Plantation Rooms and Suites are designed to be a nod to this era, with open fireplaces, elegant, comfortable decor and furnishings and stunning views. The food is a real feature of any stay here, with a superb choice of dining options when you are at the property and picnic lunches offered if you are out exploring further afield.
Morning flight from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for 2 night stay at Sanctuary Swala.
With an excellent guiding team and the chance to enjoy both walking safaris and night drives you will enjoy a superb safari experience at Sanctuary Swala. The secluded location of the camp means you come across very few other vehicles when out on safari and this really helps to make a stay here very special.
With just 12 spacious, open plan tents, Sanctuary Swala offers a lovely friendly atmosphere but with plenty of privacy as well. The rooms all have their own seating areas and the sofas are a great place to sit back and relax with a good book during the day. Indoor and outdoor showers are in all rooms and the bathrooms have all of the modern amenities one could wish for.
Morning flight from Tarangire to Lake Manyara for a 2 night stay at Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp
Perched on the rim of the Crater, Sanctuary Ngorongoro Camp is one of the best-tented camps in the area, with lovely tents and open sided public areas where you can relax and enjoy the warm hospitality and fantastic food for which Sanctuary Camps are known.
The tents are classically styled, with spacious bedroom areas and very good bathrooms with indoor bucket showers and flush loos. The small sitting areas in front of the tents are a lovely place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee before heading out on your game drive. A really good option for the crater, well located, superbly run and a great stop on any Northern Tanzania Safari.
Morning flight from Lake Manyara to Serengeti for a 2 night stay at Sanctuary Kusini
Built around a spectacular rocky kopje that overlooks vast endless plains full of game, Kusini is the only permanent camp in the remote southern Serengeti and offers a Serengeti safari experience like no other.
