Thank you for putting the trip together so expertly. The seat reservations were great and this saved us hassle. Everything went perfectly, thanks to your advice on accommodation etc. We are so glad we took your advice on Victoria Falls, the hotel was perfect and Zimbabwe really is beautiful and so are its people. We had a lovely suite, it was so like the Palm Court suite at Raffles we have stayed in both times we have visited Singapore. The location could have not been any better and we had no desire to cross into Zambia. We had complimentary cocktails and massage, a private check-in and someone on hand throughout our stay whenever we needed him. We crammed in as much as we could and will return sometime in the future for sure. The Zambezi Explorer was the ultimate sundowner cruise, and we thoroughly enjoyed this on Sunday evening. Simbambili is a beautiful place and we had a great stay there although the staff did let it down a little. Game viewing was excellent. Motswari was fabulous in every way and I got to see a leopard up a tree with a kill, there were 4 leopards in the same area on our first game drive. Chad came back off his long leave to drive us then went back on leave the day we left. Rovos was great although not as ritzy as the Blue Train. The food was first class and all in all it was a great experience. So, I will call you sometime soon regarding our next trip, and thanks again Simon because your knowledge and advice on every single trip you have arranged for us could not have been any better, and it is nice to have confidence that everything will always run smoothly throughout.
We had a fantastic time on our trip and enjoyed meeting the rest of the group. We've made a few really good friends, whom we may even see again in the future.
We would really like to give a special mention to Gregg and Eleanor (our 2 tour guides) and our driver, who were all exceptional. Gregg was able to give us a lot of fascinating information in small chunks and he knew when to chat and when to give us time to look at sights for ourselves, which was much appreciated. The accommodation was also excellent.
Africa Travel know Africa like the back of their hand, plus everything is tried and tested to be sure they're happy to recommend it.
