Oude Werf Hotel

Overview

South Africa’s oldest and most historic hotel, which has welcomed guests since 1802. Located right in the centre of Stellenbosch, it retains all its Georgian grandeur and elegance.

Guests can choose to stay in one of the rooms or opt for a self-catering experience in one of the five apartments – whichever you choose, the welcome and service is exceptional. Guests can relax in beautifully-planted gardens or by the swimming pool after either a day’s touring or a leisurely stroll around the streets of Stellenbosch.

Our Thoughts

Excellent value-for-money hotel situated right in the middle of Stellenbosch – great for those wanting to wine and dine, but not drive, in the evenings. As South Africa’s oldest inn it is even worth a quick coffee stop for non-guests to have a look at its historic buildings.
