The Last Word Long Beach has long been a favourite of Africa Travel, and it is easy to see why. Chris Wain heads off-the-beaten-tourist-track down to the Cape Peninsula to visit a stylish destination in South Africa.
Although famed for its beaches, Cape Town offers very few properties which are actually located right by the sea - The Last Word Beach is one such rare example, situated as it is on the beach in the quaint fishing village of Kommetjie. Those rooms upstairs have the best views, but those staying downstairs are nearer to the pool and to the gate which leads out to the deserted beach.
