Pom Pom Camp

Overview

Pom Pom is a safari traditionalists dream, nestled in the heart of the Delta overlooking a permanent lagoon which offers a stunning backdrop to the lodge throughout the year. With just 9 suites including a family tent, there is a fantastic feeling of privacy within the lodge, with the superb staff helping to create a warm, cosy, home away from home feeling. Your days will be spent exploring this lovely corner of the Delta on game viewing vehicles, by Mokoro Canoe, motorboat or on foot. Birding enthusiasts will want to spend some time in camp to spot the resident Giant Eagle Owls and potentially the rare Pel's Fishing Owl which are often seen nearby. When not enjoying the extraordinary wildlife you will be fed and entertained to your heart's content, enjoying the superb food, a Cognac by the campfire and the stories of the staff on their life living in the bush.
