Amalinda Lodge

Overview

Nestled among the granite domes of the Matopos Hills is Amalinda Lodge, a peaceful retreat that is very much a part of the environment, built around the massive boulders.

The nine thatched rooms and suites combine luxury with the natural environment incorporating the rocks into the structure of the rooms. The main lodge areas enjoy panoramic views of the hills and guests can relax in the cosy library, choose a wine from the cave wine cellar or take a swim in the pool overlooking a waterhole.

The Matopos have a large population of black and white rhino and they can be tracked on game drives or on foot. Visits to the hilltop grave of Cecil Rhodes and walks to visit ancient San rock art sites are also not to be missed. The lodge also offers spa treatments for those wishing to include a little pampering with their game viewing and sightseeing experience in the Motopos.
