Breakfast and lunch are served al fresco on the open-air terrace, with views across the springs and hippo pools, and beyond to the snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro. Dinner is a formal 6-course meal served in the main dining room. Their waiters dress in traditional Kanzu and Fez.

With indoor and outdoor showers, copper bath tubs and creamy white linens offset by soft lighting, the suites at Finch Hattons are reminiscent of the glorious golden days of safari, when wealthy adventurers would spend nights in the bush surrounded by wildlife while enjoying the comforts of home.

For families, there are the two bedroom suites and for those looking for a touch more luxury and privacy, there is the Finch Hatton suite, which features a heated plunge pool, butler service, a separate nanny room and a private chef.
