Highlights

Our Thoughts

A thoroughbred safari lodge. The game viewing is excellent, the tented rooms are luxurious and the evening lectures on wildlife are actually interesting. Ask to go on one of the moonlight safaris which regularly run after dinner for the chance to spot some of the shyer nocturnal creatures.

  • Al fresco dining with views of the reserve
  • Spa facilities: treatments can be arranged on your own private deck
  • 20m swimming pool
  • High-powered telescope
  • Internet access and satellite TV away from the main lounge
  • Traditional Boma for dinners and local performances
  • Curio shop with safari wear, local art and crafts
  • Small reference library
  • 24 hour emergency facilities and communications
  • Private airstrip
  • Same day laundry service

With incredible views cross the Okavango Delta and delicious food to match, the dining experience at Khwai River Lodge is one to remember.

Dine in the open-air or under our covered area and watch the sun set across the amazing African landscape.

After dinner enjoy the bar and lounge areas. Seated around our camp fire you can share stories of the days experiences with other guests or simply curl up and relax while the wildlife does the same.

You can now dine in style in the middle of the bush, as your guide serves breakfast or dinner in the open air

Khwai River Lodge is perfectly designed to blend into the surrounding environment.

Housed on raised wooden platforms, offering great views, our luxury tents feature sliding glass doors that bring the outside in.

The large private decks are furnished with easy chairs and a hammock, ideal for viewing wildlife, or for enjoying a private dinner in complete privacy.

Shaded by a traditional African thatch roof, each luxury tent's interior offers a luxurious en suite bathroom, a fully-stocked mini-bar, a four-poster bed complete with mosquito netting, as well as a discreet air conditioning.
