In the remote northern region of Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park and deep inside a private concession, Nehimba Lodge combines the comforts of a luxury safari lodge and exciting game viewing activities.
The seven thatched rooms are raised on teak decking and, like the lounges, dining area, bar and swimming pool at the main lodge, overlook Nehimba Pan which attracts a wide range of wildlife, particularly in the dry season.
The opportunities for game viewing in the mopane woodland and Kalahari sandveld include game drives both during the day and after dark and tracking big game on foot on fascinating and exciting walking safaris with an armed guide. Or you can let the animals come to you as you sit at a hide or at the lodge waterhole watching the comings and goings of a variety of species including elephant, zebra, buffalo and sable antelope.
Explore Hwange's wildlife on foot and on game drive if you can tear yourself away from the active waterhole in front of the lodge. The lodge provides a luxurious and comfortable stay with lovely views over the surrounding wilderness
Meals are prepared by the Chef with utmost care and focus on tasty, wholesome meals
The lodge has seven thatched rooms built on teak decks including two family rooms. Each room overlooks the waterhole and has a fan, safe, ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower.
Children aged 7 and up are accepted but please note that there are no specific child activities or facilities.
