Sindabezi Island is unique – the discerning traveller’s best-kept secret. An idyllic, exclusive camp on its very own private isle on the Zambezi River. Experience a large number of activities in the area during the day and return to a tranquil haven, a thousand light years away from the bustle at night.

Sindabezi has only five open-sided thatched cottages, allowing guests to soak up the sights and sounds of the African bush in the perfect, pristine setting. Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby National Park complete the experience

Our Thoughts

A special camp with just five cottages which is set on its own island in the middle of the Zambezi. Great fun, but probably not for the light sleeper or for those who need their gold taps and trimmings. The island even has its own friendly hippo, Horace, who is always around to greet guests.

  • The most environmentally friendly property in the Zambezi the island provides seclusion and luxury. Specialist, knowledgeable guides, personal valets, WiFi and completely personalised itinerary
  • Several private dining decks and other areas, some indoors and some outside on decks overlooking the river.
  • Also, room service offered in all rooms as well as picnic lunches.

Sindabezi Island has 4 open-fronted thatched riverfront chalets and 1 open fronted Honeymoon riverfront Chalet

Sunrise and sunset boat trips, guided canoeing,  Island picnics, guided walks, fishing, cultural visits to local school & village
