Skeleton Coast Safaris

Overview

The Skeleton Coast evokes visions of decaying shipwrecks and whale bones on desolate beaches and a flying safari with Skeleton Coast Safaris is a wonderful way to explore the remote coastline and inland desert.

The Schoeman family have been taking guests on their exhilarating and fascinating safaris since the 1970s sharing their love and knowledge of the coast, dunes and rugged desert scenery. Flying in small, 4 seater aircraft affords breathtaking views of the varied landscapes below and on landing at a remote airstrip vehicles await to take you to explore rock formations, roaring sand dunes, Bushman rock engravings and desert adapted wildlife and vegetation. Visits to nomadic Himba people and a boat trip on the Kunene River bordering Angola are also part of these varied safaris.

A unique and memorable way to experience the Namibian wilderness.
