Tau Pan

Overview

Although not as well known as the Okavango Delta or Chobe, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve is rewarding destination to visit, particularly in the rainy season between November and March when vast numbers of herbivores congregate on the plains. Whenever you visit the scenery of expansive grasslands and huge skies will impress.

Tau Pan is an environmentally friendly camp with just nine rooms that have been specially designed to deal with the extremes of the temperatures experienced throughout the year. The camps is set on a sand dune with views over a permanent waterhole to the seemingly endless bush beyond.

Spending time on a nature walk with Bushman trackers learning about the environment and their beliefs and traditions is a rewarding experience.
