Hlosi Game Lodge is a small 14-room lodge in the malaria free Eastern Cape offering rich wild life game-viewing and luxurious accommodation for the whole family.
Set amid tranquil grassland, the self-contained luxury lodge can be booked for exclusive use by a group of friends or family.
The suites – four double and two two-roomed family suites are as spacious as they are comfortable, with each having a private verandah, outside courtyard, spa bath and underfloor heating. Recent additions are four luxury safari tents and four luxury family safari tents, which offer a memorable tented safari experience without compromising on luxury or comfort. The bar in the main lodge overlooks the swimming pool and waterhole, and a full range of game viewing activities is available on the reserve in search of the big game which call Amakhala home.
The two-bedroom family rooms here are amongst the best on offer in the Eastern Cape. Combined with a children’s programme in a malaria-free environment, Hlosi is one of the best family-friendly lodges available.
Guests will take all of their meals in the lodge, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea being served in the main lodge. The staff will try and offer some variety with locations for evening meals, trying to give guests at least one starlight dining experience during their stay.
Just 6 rooms are found at Hlosi, 4 Double and 2 Two Bedroom Family suites, all with outside siting areas, under floor heating and spa baths. They are very spacious and well furnished, a great place to relax after a long day exploring the bush.
The property has recently introduced 4 luxury safari tents and 4 luxury family safari tents. The luxury safari tents can accommodate up to 2 adults and feature modern conveniences including full en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, electric blankets and minibars. The luxury family safari tents can accommodation up to 2 adults and 2 children in 2 rooms with a shared bathroom.
One of Amakhala’s great choices for kids. The family rooms are perfect for families as everyone can be under one roof and the lodge can tailor the programme to children when they are staying here, The guides are excellent with children and really help them to get the most out of their time in the bush.
The lodge has a private kid's room with TV, DVD player, games and children's books.
Family Suites offer a main bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds for the children (max 3).
