Situated in the southern part of the Madikwe Game Reserve on the border with Botswana, Jamala Madikwe is located away from other lodges and the private nature of the lodge is enhanced by the fact that they have no more than ten guests at any one time.
The five free-standing villas are luxurious with elegant spaces complete with a private plunge pool and dining area. The main lodge overlooks a waterhole that attracts a lot of wildlife allowing guests to enjoy game viewing on a "sofa safari". The lodge is owner run and prides itself on its superb personal service and exceptional dining experience.
Exceptional service, gourmet dining and elegantly luxurious private villas promise a memorable five star safari at Jamala Madikwe.
Jamala Madikwe is renowned for its award winning food and the dining experience is one of the highlights of a stay here. Whether dining indoors, under the stars or in the privacy of your suite, the innovative gastronomic treats will delight even food aficionados.
Jamala's five freestanding villas are spacious, elegant affairs offering privacy and luxury and featuring superlative design, furniture and facilities. From the huge bathrooms with freestanding bath tubs and outdoor showers to your own private lounge and dining area, to the splash pool on the deck overlooking the waterhole or open savannah, the villas provide space and privacy in which to truly relax.
Jamala is more of an adult environment and does not accept children under 16 unless the lodge is booked on exclusive use basis.
