Kings Camp is found in the Timbavati Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. The property offers outstanding Big 5 game viewing in it's 100 square kilometre area. The lodge has a very strong colonial feel to it, with the elegantly designed and furnished suites offering a great place to retreat to after a long day of game viewing.
The main part of the lodge is made up of a series of spacious lounges, with a huge decking area and swimming pool where you can relax between game drives and enjoy their delicious breakfasts and lunches. Evening meals are served in the boma under the stars which is a magical experience.
Whether exploring the reserve with your guide, enjoying the delicious meals or simply relaxing around the lodge, a stay at Kings Camp will ensure a truly wonderful safari experience.
For guests looking for a safari lodge that takes them back to the colonial past, Kings Camp is the perfect choice. The lodge has been beautifully designed, in sympathy with the local surroundings, whilst providing an elegant yet laid back experience. The food is superb, especially the boma dinners and the Timbavati Reserve offers excellent game viewing with the option of walking safaris.
Guests returning from Kings Camp are always fulsome in praise for the food and rightly so. Meals are a real treat here, with a huge variety of delicious dishes served in an inspiring range of locations. Bush breakfasts and dinners are always popular and evenings in the boma are a memorable experience.
9 spacious Colonial Suites and 2 Honeymoon Suites make up Kings Camp, all of which are spacious, very comfortable and have their own private decking areas. The Honeymoon Suites also boast their own private plunge pools. There is also Waterbuck Private Camp, which is a fully private camp, accommodating up to 8 guests with their own private guide, chef and team to look after them.
Children are welcome from ages 6 and upwards, unless the whole camp is booked
