Gorilla Forest Camp is tucked away deep inside Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, uniquely located to maximise your chances of seeing the famous mountain gorillas. The theatrical setting of the forest along with gorilla trekking and the luxurious accommodation of the camp all make for a truly memorable experience in Uganda.
If you're thinking of coming to Gorilla Forest Camp then undoubtedly you want to see gorillas, but what's also not to be missed is the community interaction with the Batwa Pygmies and the philanthropy project at the Bwindi Community Hospital. And for those who are less mobile this is the perfect place as the camp has specially designed chairs that allow guests to be carried into the forest to track the gorillas - no one misses out.
There are 8 large en-suite tents on offer, each one has two queen sized beds and a bath that overlooks the forest.
Children of all ages are welcome in the camp, but children up to the age of 11 are required to share a room with an adult. Only children aged 15 or older can take part in gorilla trekking.
