Singita Castleton

Overview

Whether you are travelling as a group of friends or a family and you want to spend your time in the bush on your own terms, Singita Castleton offers an exclusive safari experience.

Set in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve the game viewing here is arguably South Africa's finest and your dedicated guide will take you on drives in your private open game vehicle and on exciting bush walks.

When you are not out exploring the bush there is a swimming pool, gym and tennis court at the lodge and you can also relax with a spa treatment or watching the animals that come to the waterhole to drink.

The lodge and the six individual cottages blend the style of an African farmhouse with modern luxuries and the service from the dedicated staff is second to non.

Highlights

Our Thoughts

A superb choice for those looking for a private and luxurious safari getaway.

  • Swimming pool
  • Gym
  • Tennis court
  • Trampoline, spa treatment room
  • TV and DVD player
  • WiFi

As you have the lodge to yourself, meal times and menus are flexible and can be discussed with your private chef.

Singita Castleton has six individual cottages separate from each other and the main house which blend modern luxury with a nostalgic, farmhouse  feel.

  • Game drives
  • Walks
  • Tennis
  • Mountain
  • Biking

Singita Castleton is a great option for families with the main house as the central meeting point, but with private cottages to retreat to for privacy and solitude. The two cottages have interconnecting doors, so for parents ease of mind, knowing their children are close by.

Some of the special activities offered for families and children include:

  • Board games
  • Wildlife DVDs
  • Cooking and baking with chefs
  • Visits to the local community schools when class is in session
  • Archery
  • Swimming
  • Mini Rangers’ Course: This club opens up a whole new world to young explorers. This programme includes: tracking animals; frogging; butterfly capture and release; a cosmic safari (astronomy); learning bush survival techniques; flower-pressing; game-spotting competitions; nature quizzes and a Ranger’s Test. Upon completion of the course, these proud achievers are awarded certificates to recognise their new-found knowledge and accomplishments.
