The Farmhouse Hotel

Overview

The West Coast is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourists visiting South Africa. Just a couple of hours easy drive from Cape Town the area features beaches, small towns and fishing villages and a burgeoning culinary scene. Every year in August and September the West Coast National Park is the site of spectacular displays of wildflowers.

The Farmhouse Hotel in the town of Langebaan enjoys an enviable position overlooking Langebaan lagoon with views of the water from the rooms and the terrace of the restaurant. The hotel has a real feeling of history and tradition from its local farmhouse design to the onsite museum housing artefacts and paintings reflecting the past of the town and the coast.

For the active guest kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing are all possible while more sedate beach strolls, birdwatching and nature walks can be enjoyed.
