When enjoying the fantastic safari experience at Chongwe Camp, the only things they insist on is relaxing and making sure that you feel at home! This wonderfully laid back feel really helps to make Chongwe one of the leading safari experiences in Zambia. The variety of activities mean you can enjoy 3 nights here and have plenty of variety, including the chance to enjoy their renowned fishing trips on the Zambezi. After a long day exploring the park you will be welcomed back to the camp by a roaring fire and drink, before heading to the dining area to enjoy the sumptuous cuisine.
Superbly located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, Chongwe Camp is a wonderful base from which to explore the Lower Zambezi National Park. In addition to the fantastic game viewing, this is a wonderful camp in which to relax, with the riverside drinks and fire pit area a particular favourite of ours.

You will find the dining area in the heart of the camp and it is a real focus of a stay at Chongwe Camp. Meals are lovingly prepared, with a focus on local ingredients and will be served under the stars if the weather permits. Pre-dinner drinks will be taken down by the river set around a roaring fire.
The main camp is made up of 8 standard tents, 1 one bedroom and 1 two bedroom suite. The rooms are all comfortable and well furnished, with en-suite bathrooms and lovely views out into the park. The open sided bathrooms have free standing baths and big shower areas.
Children 7 and older are accepted.
