Katara Lodge sits just 15km outside of Queen Elizabeth National Park, up on the hillside, commanding sweeping views over the savannah and the Rwenzori Mountains beyond. Proudly eco-friendly and intimate in style, the camp only has 8 large luxury thatched cottages so warm, personal service is assured.

Although not in the Queen Elizabeth National Park itself - the lodge offers easy access to the myriad of activities that can be enjoyed as well as on the farmland surrounding the lodge. Offering spectacular views in all directions, it is highly enjoyable to return after a day out exploring for sundowners on the deck.

An intimate camp with 8 spacious thatched cottages set on the hillside. 7 cottages are regular and 1 cottage caters for families, with a separate twin room accommodating up to 3 small children. Each of the regular cottages feature double bed and a separate 4 poster bed - to be wheeled out for a night under the stars on the spacious balcony. The open plan rooms also a feature a lounge area and ensuite bathroom complete with a roll top bath.
