Sitting on the shores of Lake Tana, Ethiopia's largest lake, Kuriftu Resort and Spa is the ideal place to escape to and unwind. The resort consists of 14 spacious traditional stone cottages, all with two bedrooms and set around a gorgeous pool offering breathtaking views of the lake. The stone cottages are attractively decorated with a minimalist approach, creating a spacious feel. The service in general is excellent, with a very calm and relaxed atmosphere being created, and free massages on offer.
The rooms all consist of a four-poster bed, lounge and en-suite as well as an in-room bar. There is also plenty of outdoor seating and a spa, so relaxation outside in the warm weather is welcomed.
Kuriftu Resort and Spa offers comfortable accommodation in a tranquil location. We recommend requesting an upstairs room to get the best of the stunning lake views available.
There are 28 stone cottages at Kuriftu Resort and Spa, some are located on the ground floor and some on the first floor, we recommend staying upstairs if possible due to the stunning views of Lake Tana on offer. The rooms are all either facing the lake or set within the garden, all are spacious and furnished with traditional-style beds and furniture.
