Villa Margherita

Centrally located in the coastal town of Swakopmund in an area with many colonial era buildings, Villa Margherita is itself a restored turn of the twentieth century villa. In contrast, the interiors are stylish and contemporary with modern artwork and bright colour schemes.

This friendly, upmarket B&B has just eight bedrooms, each individually designed and with a seating area or private lounge.  Relax in the lounge or the courtyard garden while you plan the next stage of your Namibian adventure. There are many activities available in and around Swakopmund whether in the air, in the dunes or on the ocean.

Our Thoughts

A lovely mix of heritage building and modern design with friendly, helpful staff.

  • Restaurant
  • Massages
  • Lounge
  • Courtyard garden

Breakfast is served in the dining room or outside in the summer. The hotel's small Italian restaurant - Il Tulipano - is open for dinner and must be prebooked.

There are eight rooms, all individually designed in a bright, contemporary style with a sitting area or lounge. Two of the rooms are in a separate building and are perfect for families as they interlead. The honeymoon suite is across the road from the main building and has its own parking, living room and patio.

  • Dolphin cruises
  • Scenic flights
  • Quad biking
  • Desert tours
  • Sandwich Harbour tour

Villa Margherita accepts children of all ages and two of the rooms interlead.
