Itinerary

Day 1: UK Departure
Depart London Heathrow on the scheduled South Africa Airways flight to Johannesburg.

Days 2-3: Royal Malewane (FB & Activities)
On arrival, connect with your onward flight to Hoedspruit, the gateway to the Kruger National Park. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the magnificent Royal Malewane, where you spend the next two nights. Located in the greater Kruger National Park, this luxurious Lodge offers incredible game viewing both by morning and evening game drives and bush walks with specialist guides in search of the Big 5 and incredible bird life. If you prefer to relax and chill out at the lodge, you can book yourself a treatment at the Waters of Royal Malewane Bush Spa, simply enjoy the luxurious surroundings of your private suite with its plunge pool and views to die for.

Days 4-5: La Residence (BB)
Today you return to Hoedspruit for your scheduled flight to Cape Town. On arrival, collect your hire car and make your way to the famed winelands of Franschhoek and to La Residence, where you spend the next two nights. Reputed to be the gourmet capital of the world, Franschhoek is foodie heaven, and La Residence has bucket loads of delights in store for you. From here you can enjoy a range of wine-tasting, including by horseback, trekking through the vineyards, hiking and biking. La Residence is also located within easy reach of award-winning restaurants, cafes, and galleries in the Franschhoek Valley, so go ahead and immerse yourself in this incredible corner of South Africa.

Days 6-7: Birkenhead House (FB)
Today you make your way along the coast to the outskirts of Hermanus, where you spend the next two nights at Birkenhead House. This is laid back, ocean front luxury with incredible views, easy access to amazing sandy beaches, beach walks and an array of activities including seasonal whale-watching and shark-diving, kayaking, surfing or horse-riding. Don’t forget to leave time and space for the mussels which are picked right on the shore! You can’t get more fresh than that.

Day 8: Departure
Today you return to Cape Town Airport, arriving in time to drop off your hire car and check in for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, connect with your scheduled overnight flight to London Heathrow.
