Home to the iconic Victoria Falls, Zambia is an extraordinarily beautiful country with so much to offer the African aficionado.
As well as the mighty Falls, it also plays host to the great Zambezi River and to two of Africa's largest wildlife reserves - South Luangwa & Kafue.
To help you plan your holiday to Zambia, our Africa expert Simon has put together a short guide on everything you need to know about travelling to Zambia post-lockdown.
Tourist visas are available on arrival and all tourists must have a negative Covid-19 certificate, taken within 7 days of arrival into Zambia.
There is no requirement to quarantine for visitors without Covid-19 symptoms. All travellers are to monitor themselves for 14 days after arrival in Zambia and immediately report any symptoms.
There are no restrictions on where you can visit but all visitors are expected to follow Covid-19 regulations such as physical distancing, wearing face masks and personal hygiene.
In addition to the common regulations regarding distancing and hygiene, there are measures at the airports regarding PPE for staff, mandatory wearing of face masks, enhanced cleaning and screening of passengers.
For travellers who have been to Zambia in the previous 10 days entry to the UK is not permitted except for British and Irish passport holders, long term visa holders and permanent residents, all of whom will be required to self-isolate.
